The breadth of Caribbean islands is mind boggling yet they each have their own unique allure, culture, and customs and cater to a wide variety of tastes and interests. Islands like Jamaica, Aruba and the Bahamas have achieved worldwide recognition and popularity while some of the smaller, more remote islands remain virtually undiscovered treasures famed for, among other qualities, pleasant Caribbean island weather.

The Dominican Republic for example provides a rich Latin culture combined with ethnic dishes in a sunny waterfront location while the comparably tiny island of Saba is a less developed yet abundantly natural vacation escape containing some of the best diving and environmental excursions in all of the Caribbean.

Jamaica continues to draw in individuals seeking to detach themselves from their busy lifestyles at one its superb beaches and the expansive Atlantis resort in the Bahamas provides tons of fun and relaxation. A massive collection of cays in the Bahamas remain nearly untouched by humans and make for a great natural sightseeing vacation. The large Caribbean island of Sint Maarten / Saint Martin, whichis half Dutch - half French, on the other hand continues to grow tremendously in its tourism and now has some of the best casinos, nightclubs and restaurants in all of the Caribbean.

Regardless of whether you decide to visit and perhaps live in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines or Trinidad and Tobago, each of these islands have a diverse and fascinatingly unique way of life while sharing some of the traditions and practically year-round celebration of the Caribbean like the Carnival festival.  Caribbean island travel is a great way to experience nature in a highly pristine state along with an experience that is definitely one of a kind.
